Be Mindful of your drinking this holiday season. Don’t over do it with all those secret sugars, hidden in juices and all those pretty drinks. Just because it’s pretty and festive doesn’t mean it’s Vegan either! Whatttttttt!!! (I know that’s what you’re thinking!) It’s totally fine, I thought the same thing, and we all know what happened after that… I rannnnnnnnn too……(wait for it)…...GOOGLE! LOL!
What do you mean Vegan Alcohol?
Vegans don’t eat anything with a Momma (my 2 yr old thought process). If it’s got a Momma we won’t eat it. That rule applies to everything. So when creating holiday drinks, I have to check the options, for wine, liquor … everything. Did you know there was a site you can visit that will let you check to see if it’s vegan?
It’s true, the site I use is called www.BARNIVORE.com.
This website has information about all beers, all wines, all liquors. It tells you what part of their process is vegan and what is not. Details about the secret ingredients that are not on the label and everything. I love this website. Just check it out for yourself.
I tell the fam ALL THE TIME…read your labels, because everything that you see is not what you get. Look at what’s in what you are drinking. I always want to know “What’s in It”!
