Ingredients
- 1 Bag of Frozen All Natural Black Eye Peas
- 1 Tomato (large)
- 1 bunch of Parsley
- 5 cloves of garlic
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Olive Oil
- Old Bay Seasoning
- Himalayan Sea Salt
- Fresh Ground Black Petter
- Agave Nectar
- **optional - onion, (my husband is allergic, so i don't use it.. but it tastes amazing with it)!
Instructions
- Boil black eye peas for 40-45 minutes
- Add 3 minced garlic cloves
- Add Old Bay Seasoning 1-1/5 tablespoon, or lets be real about 3-5 shakes (depends on how much you like it)
- Add 2 pinches of Himalayan Sea Salt, if its freshly ground, give it about 5 turns.
- Add 2 pinches of Ground Pepper, if its freshly ground, give it about 5 turns
- In a separate bowl prepare the topping (its soo good)
- Add 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
- Add 1/4 cup of olive oil
- Add 2 minced cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of steak seasoning
- 1 tsp of Himalayan Sea Salt
- 1 tablespoon of Agave Nectar
- Wisk together in a bowl, make a nice blend
- Add in diced tomatoes (**Optional if you add in onions add it here**)
- Add in parsley
- They will be covered and drowning in the sauce (it's ok.) Let it sit until the black eye peas are done cooking.
- Once the black eye peas are done, get ready to have your tastebuds satisfied, Plate your black eye peas, and top them with our tomato salsa
