Cooking with Que’s ABC Juice

Now listen, I know I just did a Facebook live the other day, I posted it on Youtube for all of the Saints and Aints’ that don’t have Facebook.  Go Watch it! No Joke! It gives you all the information that you need about this healthy drink.

This is Apple, Beetroot, and Carrot Juice.

Very simple recipe but power packed! If you want to see the recipe, check it out here!

For those who don't know my Husband deals with pulmonary embolisms.  There are hereditary, and the blood clots that usually form in the limbs and then travel to places that you don't want them to go.  They are painful and uncomfortable  as they travel.  When you are diagnosed with them the usual treatment is taking blood thinners, so that the blood clots will break up, and also as a preventative way to stop them from occurring.  What we wanted to do was to find a natural way to break the blood clots down as well.  So we put together this drink as a natural blood thinner for my Hubby.

Now, ABC represents, Apple, Beetroot, and Carrot and in trying to create this natural blood thinner, we found out that it has soooooo many benefits. Literally this drink will flush all the unwanted toxins out of your body. Let's look at some of the research I found.

We made Apple Pancakes on Fox 2! | Recipe Inside

Oh my Gravy and Mash Potatoes!  We were on Fox 2 Again!  This time we made Apple Pancakes and they were a hit!  I will say, we bought all natural pancake mix from our local grocery store, Kroger to be exact.  The brand was Log Cabin, because their ingredients were simple.  We followed the recipe on the back, but instead of using Eggs and Milk, we made it Vegan by using a Non- Dairy Milk, like Soy Milk or Almond Milk, and Olive oil instead of Eggs.

To top it off, instead of using regular syrup, we cut the calories by just drizzling agave on top!  These pancakes were from HEAVEN!  They taste soooo good!  You have to try it!

Well, Check out our Fox 2 clip below, and of course I threw in the recipe too!

Our 20 Min Meal Class was AWESOME!

We had so much fun in our 20 Min Meal Class! The recipes were nice and easy, but the taste was out of this world! We sampled foods from Breakfast to Dinner but we decided to eat backwards! So we had dinner first and breakfast ended up being the best dessert.. I mean treat ever!!

Our first course was Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos, literally from Jesus! These tacos have just the right spice to wake you up from food boredom! They are filled with dark leafy greens, topped with perfectly baked Cauliflower bathed in Buffalo Sauce from Sweet Baby Rays, and Franks Buffalo Sauce and drizzled with fresh Guacamole Salsa!

Hungry at 2 a.m. in Downtown Indianapolis ?? No Problem! #HotBoxPizza

First, let me say....... I wanted to catch a quick flight to Indiana, but my brain wouldn't let me be great. I'm always looking for savings and it just didn't make sense to spend $300+ on flights when we could drive four hours from Michigan and only spend $23.50 on gas! Yep. Welcome to my brain! Sooo hubby and I drove... well he drove! LOL! I was proud to be a passenger because I got 90 days worth of content ready to go for Cooking with Que!

We arrived at like 1:30 in the morning on Saturday and the city was popping! Like seriously...I'm grown and I love sleep, but Downtown Indianapolis wouldn't let me be great! People were out! Walking the streets like it was nothing! All I wanted to do was stretch my legs and check into our hotel! But our stomachs told another story! We were HUNGRY! My Husband and I were like where are 2 Vegans about to eat at 2 a.m.? In the words of my Momma (rest her soul in heaven) ain't nothing open after 2 but legs (excuse my vernacular....lol)!! Oh, but Downtown Indy was POPPINNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGG!!! OKAYYYY!!

Que!

Ok, I have to tell the TRUTH

I've been missing in action, I know. I owe recipes, and updates. I know, I know. I've been keeping things to myself because, if you know me, I think I can fix everything. Lies. That is a boldface lie. Sometimes, you have to just live and let God!

Since you guys are my Family too, I have to ask for a favor. I need you all to say a prayer for me for some important things in my life.

This Weeks Recipes: Vegan Steaks, Watermelon Refreshers, & Que’s Pasta Salad!

We had a blast at our June Class!

Talk about a pre 4th of July Vegan BBQ!  We learned how to make homemade seitan, and it tasted phenomenal!  Beyond Meat gave us amazing options to have for the plant based eaters in our lives.  We sampled their burgers, which I love and obsess with, and their new sausages.  I don't know what they do, but the smokey taste make my tastebuds soo happy!

For dessert, instead of loading up with cakes and pies, we had watermelon refreshers which are always a crowd pleaser.  I don't think people think that lime, mint, and watermelon go together.  #TheyDo! #Hello!

Having a good knife in the kitchen is like…..(insert thought here)

Having a good knife in the kitchen is like…Mash Potatoes with Gravy..Vegan Mac N Cheez... a Beyond Meat burger on a Pretzel bun topped with Kale, Tomato, Avocado, Ketchup, Mustard, extra pickles and a lil Sriracha!!! Are you picking up what I'm putting down?

LOL!

Listen, I love a good knife.  I love to cook, so I am always chopping, slicing, cutting and dicing everything in sight!  I love my knives! People come to my house and if they help me in the kitchen, they are like… Que… where did this knife come from.  Soooo I have decided to share my secrets.  I’m literally going to tell you where my knives were born! #InJesusName!

Don’t be left Hungry at the Dinner table this Easter!

Happy Easter Weekend Fam!

I'm shooting you a quick note to say don't be hungry at the dinner table this year.  Just because you are vegan, or making a lifestyle change by eating better.  Take this advice, the 7 P's.

Prior Proper Planning, Prevents Piss Poor Performance!

Make a meal for yourself to take with you.  I do this all the time. I travel with food so that I'm not sitting around watching everyone else eat.  I know that I have dietary restrictions, and I can't put my restrictions on everyone else. I'm vegan, and I'm allergic to dairy. That doesn't mean I can't eat.   Follow the 7 P's and prep food to take with you, and make enough to share.  You could change someone elses outlook on eating better.
