Meal Preps Are Here! Are you Ready?

The most asked question in the Cooking with Que inbox..... Do you have Meal Preps!  Literally.

I had to take the time to determine what would work because I didn't want to be another "Box" service with food that will last for 7-10 days!  That's absolutely ridiculous to me.  Like what fresh food do you get out of a garden... and it lasts you for that long!  GET OUTTA HERE!

My brain says, if something is supposed to be fresh, you should have to go get another batch sooner than later.  I grocery shop a couple times per week.  Fresh Kale... Spinach.. Tomatoes those items when they are truly fresh.. don't last for 2 weeks fam! So I wanted to figure out how to make this beneficial for everyone involved.  Vegans and Meat Eaters alike.  So all my local peeps will have access to pick up or delivery options. I only have spots for 10 Out of State peeps, to let me know how they like getting food every 3-4 days.

Menus will be simple and will change weekly.

  • Breakfast - will be a Smoothie / Smoothie Bowl or something to give you the energy of a coffee or energy drink without having it!
  • Lunch - will be hearty meals with foods that will keep you energized for the day, but not leave you starving by dinner time!
  • Dinner - will complete your day, but not leave you feeling like you need to get rolled out in a wheel barrel!
  • Snacks - You will get suggestions for snackage.  Your snacks should be water heavy fruits and vegetables, and or Mufa's (MonoUnsaturated Fats). I will give you guys a list.

THIS IS NOT A DIET.  DON'T CALL IT A DIET.  I WILL SCREAM.  I WILL CRY.  I WILL MOM YOU.

It's simple.  I'm just here to teach my community how to EAT TO LIVE, and that's what we are going to do.  Together.  Will your body change?  More than likely.  Will you have a different appetite?  Yes.  Will you have new energy? Yes.

You will realize that what you put in your body, is what it puts out.

The Rules are Simple:

  1. Drink Water (room temperature) when you Wake up, and At every Meal (including snack), and when you go to sleep.
  2. Don't cook food with Oil anymore, use water.  (stop complaining already, I hear you in my head) Water will do the same thing. Sautee, Steam, blah blah blah
  3. Be Positive.  Give up Complaining. It's bad for your health.  Speak Life.

Que Tip:

Eat your meals on a REAL Plate with Silverware.  Go to the Dollar Store and buy yourself a Plate.  Not plastic.  Enjoy your meal (no matter where you are).  I think people forget to enjoy the simple moments in life.  Use Dinnerware.  You Are Worth It!

Perspective:  Everyone doesn't have the option to use dinnerware.  Enjoy your Blessing.

Now for What you all have been waiting for... the plans and pricing 🙂

Hi, First… You’re doing a great job and I’m so inspired by you! I absolutely love the 7 Meal Prep you’ve come up with and I look forward to becoming a member… This is so excellent. I’m also writing to find out if you’re able to help tailor some healthy, tasty and easy meal preps that will suit my daughter’s taste. Here’s a bit about her and why I’ve come to you: She’s 25 years old and is living with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), as well as cognitive challenges.. she’s very picky and particular about what she eats, however, due to her PCOS, she’s having a hard time managing her weight. Her weight gain is more from the condition than from eating because she’s not a big eater… The main problem of what she takes in is ‘Dairy’… Dairy is one of the worst things to eat while fighting against PCOS, and it seems to be the hardest for her to let go of. Medication is definitely out for her as treatment because she will not or can not swallow even the tiniest pill. As a result, the effects are shown in her weight and skin (bad acne from PCOS). I give my daughter everything a parent can, but it’s heart breaking when you know you have the means to give her the world, but can’t seem to be successful in helping her manage her symptoms of PCOS through diet or medication. I’m requesting any help or direction in planning meals that are even easy for her to manage, either using one of your meal preps or something we can do. We’re a 3 person household with a very busy schedule… so any suggestions will be helpful, especially for my daughter. Let me also mention that my husband is living with prostate cancer so an all around custom meal prep for the three of us would be highly ideal as I am trying to keep him on track with the foods that he should and should not be eating. Thank you so much for your time you are a beautiful ray of light and I know you are blessing a lot of people as God continues to bless your steps.:-)

    • Hi Janene! Thank you soo much for the kind words! I appreciate you. For the Fam… I always tell everyone that I am not a dietician.. but, my Sister is one of the Dopest Nurse Practitioners in the world, and she helps me a lot. Many of the foods that I serve will help her. We don’t use Dairy AT ALL. I’M TOTALLY AGAINST IT! She also needs foods that have anti-inflammatory properties. I don’t like to call it diets, but this healthier way of eating will aid in weight loss for sure. Once you all sign up for meal prep an intake form will be sent where you can enter in allergies, ailments, and medications etc.

Happy Monday! Let me know if you need anything else!

    Hi Que!
Just curious how much cooking in my part is required for your 7 day meal prep meals? Time? Chopping? etc. Just wondered if like Blue Apron?

    • The only thing you have to do is blend your smoothies :). Nothing else 🙂

      #Boom 🙂
