You read that right!! Gosh I am so excited to tell you about this !

First thing I grab at a party is like 5 pigs in a blanket … I will sneak like 2 more when I think no one can see me to judge me lol

Butttttt I kind of get grossed out thinking about what those delicious little weenies are made of.

If you follow this -miracle- recipe from delish you never guilt eat those stinkers again and guess what…..you won’t even be mad about it!!!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c.  extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 c.  soy sauce
  • 2 tsp.  maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp.  smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp.  Liquid Smoke
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lb.  baby carrots
  • 1  tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • Egg wash
  • 2 tsp.  poppy seeds (optional)
  • Grainy mustard, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°
  2. Mix all ingredients besides the carrots and rolls .
  3. Place carrots in gallon size ziplock bag and pour in marinade
  4. Let marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes
  5. Place on parchment paper covered cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes
  6. Once cooled slightly cut crescents into thirds and roll one carrot into each slice of dough
  7. Brush egg wash on and sprinkle with poppy seeds
  8. Bake until golden (20 minutes)
