Cooking with Que takes on Indianapolis for the Circle City Classic

I'm excited we are opening our palates to all kinds of foods.... #Vegan foods that is! Everything around us is #HBCU! It wreaks of Southern Hospitality! Everyone is say hello! Everye is happy! Everyone is Nice!!! #TearsOfJoy! It's a Celebration! Howard University -VS- Bethune Cookman University! When I say it's #LIT fam!! It is! Check Out the Circle City Classic

I've decided that it's time to do things to make my heart happy! It can't just be about work! I am a #Workaholic! I work my Family! I work my dream day job! I k Cooking with Que! I work my New brick and mortar, The Kitchen, and I work my Non Profits! God told me to reap the the fruits of my labor! So it's time to enjoy some things! I want to visit all 50 STATES and EVERY COUNTRY! Yep I said it!

Just expect pics of every food aspect of our trip. We are reviewing restaurants, the experiences, hotels and anything else you can think of!

Eggplant is a Fruit?!

At first glance, you notice the beautiful deep purple color. It looks more like a work of art than a vegetable. The eggplant is regal, I imagine the eggplant being high society in the fruit world.

Eggplants belong to the nightshade family of fruit, which also includes tomatoes, sweet peppers and potatoes. They grow in a manner much like tomatoes, hanging from the vines of a plant that grows several feet in height. While the different varieties do range slightly in taste and texture, one can generally describe the eggplant as having a pleasantly bitter taste and spongy texture.
